Medical Acupuncture

Medical Acupuncture is best suited for conditions stemming from muscle tension such as muscle strains, tennis elbow, tension headaches, and pack pain related to motor vehicle accidents (MVA). Acupuncture can also be used to stimulate nerves to improve nerve function and decrease nerve symptoms for people suffering with conditions such as sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, neck or back aches.

Your therapist will use very fine acupuncture needles placed in specific points in the body. The foundation of acupuncture is based on the knowledge that bodily functions are regulated by a flow of energy called ‘qi‘. Acupuncture aims to optimize the flow of qi through channels running through the body called meridians.
